Gordon T. Stewart, MD, who was quoted in a recent news story on methadone maintenance (JAMAMedical News218:1895 [Dec 27] 1971), is visiting professor of epidemiology at Cornell University Medical College, New York City, and not at Columbia University as stated. He will move soon to the University of Glasgow to be Mechan Professor of Public Health and head of the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health.

Victor Nussenzweig, MD, director of the training program in immunology of the Department of Pathology at the New York University School of Medicine, has been promoted to professor of pathology at the school.

Samuel L. Kountz, MD, co-director of the Transplantation Center at the University of California, San Francisco, has received a 4-year grant of $850,000 from the National Institutes of Health for research in organ transplantation.
