Problems about lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD)—possible therapeutic values, side effects, research findings, irrational public attitudes —were discussed by a panel of psychiatrists and a sociologist at the 1966 AMA clinical convention in Las Vegas, Nev. The panel participants here present their somewhat conflicting views. The reports are thoughtful, informative, free from the exaggerations and emotion of much that is written about LSD.
