To the Editor.—
It seems that the modern, editorless, subjective journalism is invading The Journal ("Acupuncture Anesthesia," 218:1558, 1971). This hearsay, hear-see, Marco Polo data should have formed the basis for a series of experimental psychology experiments, not a paper for The Journal. Go and learn; come home and evaluate; prove then publish. To do otherwise is heresy, not objectivity.
