The Third National Conference of State Medical Association Representatives on Continuing Medical Education will be held by invitation at the Ambassador Hotels, Chicago, Oct 24-26, 1972. The first two conferences have appeared to be productive and helpful, not only to the state association leadership, but to the state association individual members as well.
The primary interest of these conferences has been to study the state-level problems in continuing medical education and to suggest solutions by which the state medical associations might be able to help solve those problems. The conferences have provided forums for the exchange of ideas among representatives of the various state associations. They have given strong encouragement to these associations to become more involved in the field.
The Third Conference will focus its attention on several major interests of all physicians. It is planned that the program will include discussion of problems related to peer review as
