To the Editor.—
I enjoy artistic covers of The Journal, like those of Holbein, Caravaggio, or Dali, but I was shocked to see the "Lovers in a Snow Storm" of Curt Stenvert. Obviously, you did not understand the unartistic, unesthetical inscriptions on it, which did not dignify the cover of our magazine. This is a "bei den Haaren herbeigezogenes, noch nie dagewesenes, abgeschmacktes Unsinn!"
