Abstract

The "Mayo wrist" prosthesis described in a recent issue (JAMAMedical News 235:1316 [March 29] 1976) should be called the "Meuli wrist," after Hans Cristoph Meuli, MD, of Bern, Switzerland, who developed the device. The Medical News article describes the use of the device at the Mayo Clinic.
