To the Editor:—  The article on the nasogastric feeding tube is timely and valuable. My partner, Vernon Lundmark, used a similar tube... I have one suggestion. If a tube intended for nasogastric suction is rubbed with silicone fluid such as ophthalmologists use for cleaning eye glasses, the tube will not stick to a dry mucous membrane of nose or throat. It improves the comfort of the patient a great deal.
