Abstract

In the SPECIAL COMMUNICATION, "Sassafras and Herb Tea," published in the Aug 2 issue (436: 477, 1976), a sentence was printed incorrectly. The last sentence of the first full paragraph in column 3 should read: "We plan to publish evidence showing that many herb teas are rich in tannins which can complex with, inactivate, or prolong the absorption of certain drugs." This is not true of all herb teas, as the printed version might appear to imply.
