An important advantage of attending a scientific meeting is the interchange between presenters and floor discussants. In recent years, scientific programs have often lacked adequate time for this interchange. Such was not a deficit at the Satellite Conference on the Pulmonary Circulation held in Chicago as part of the XXIVth International Congress of Physical Sciences in 1968.
