Agranulocytosis Following Infectious Mononucleosis

Abstract

Two patients had agranulocytosis complicating infectious mononucleosis. Agranulocytosis appears to be an infrequent, self-limited complication of this primary disease. The differential diagnosis of agranulocytosis should include infectious mononucleosis, particularly in a young person.
