Abstract

In the BRIEF REPORT, "Ankylosing Spondylitis and Primary Hyperparathyroidism," published in the Aug 27 issue (225:1108-1109, 1973), an error occurred. In column 2, the sentence beginning on line 23 should read "The serum parathyroid hormone level prior to operation was 120μlEq/ ml and one week after operation, it was 17μlEq/ml (normal, <40μlEq/ ml)." The units of measurement were incorrectly published as mEq/ml.
