Abstract

In the brief report titled "Hypokalemic Rhabdomyolysis and Myoglobinuria Following Amphotericin B Therapy," published in the Feb 2 issue (211:824-826), an error occurred on page 824, under "Report of a Case." The seventh sentence of the third paragraph under that case report reads, "The values from two serum potassium measurements were 2.2 and 1.5 mEq per liter, with simultaneous magnesium concentrations of 1.93 and 1.07 mEq/liter, respectively (normal magnesium level: 1.6 to 2.1 mEq per liter)." Correctly, the simultaneous magnesium concentrations should have read 1.93 and 1.97 mEq/liter.
