Abstract

In the Dec 15, 1969, issue the Original Contribution entitled "Hyperparathyroidism With a Prolonged Period of Normocalcemia" by Robert D. Johnson, MD, and Jerome W. Conn, MD, contained a table (p 2064) with errors that should be corrected as follows:

In the column "Test and Results," the entry "Calcium infusion (10 min) Up/ Cr, 0.37, 0.40, 0.30, 0.38" refers to a test given on 2/12/64 and should not have been continued onto the horizontal columns for 2/13/64 and 2/15/64. In addition, "Studies elsewhere" were performed from 1/3/64 to 1/9/64; "University Hospital admission" covered the period from 2/4/64 to 2/15/64; "12.5 mo" covered the period from 2/24/64 to 3/11/65; and "Triiodothyronine, 300μg/day," was given over a five-day period from 10/16/65 to 10/20/65, not on 7/14/65. Finally, under the heading "Diet," the entries for 2/5/64 and 2/6/64 should read "General + 1 qt milk," not "1 qt milk."
