Abstract

—In the article entitled " `Outbreak' of Optic and Peripheral Neuropathy in Cuba?" published in the July 28,1993, issue of THE JOURNAL (1993;270:511-518), the photographs in Figs 1 and 2 were incorrectly placed: Fig 1 (left) should be Fig 2 (left), documenting the right eye; Fig 1 (right) should be Fig 2 (right), documenting the left eye; Fig 2 (left) should be Fig 1 (right), documenting the left eye; and Fig 2 (right) should be Fig 1 (left), documenting the right eye. The legends for Figs 1 and 2 should read as follows: "Fig 1.—Fundus photographs of patient 13 with temporal optic nerve pallor right eye (left) and left eye (right). Fig 2.—Fundus photographs of patient 19 with severe temporal optic nerve pallor right eye (left) and left eye (right)."
