Abstract

To the Editor.  —I am taken by the idea of The Rational Clinical Examination, but the most recent article1 has me stumped. Figure 3 on page 2219 baffled me. Is this patient suffering from situs inversus? Is this an examination maneuver that requires the physician to stand on his or her head? Is this a side effect of the vaunted Canadian medical system? I gave up.
