Abstract

To the Editor.—  Although I assume 4 mg to be the dose of chlorpheniramine maleate used in the study "Effectiveness of Antihistamines in the Symptomatic Management of the Common Cold" by Howard et al (242:2414, 1979), it seems a significant oversight that the dose is never mentioned. For a well-designed study, it is a glaring omission.
