—Five corrections should be made in the ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTION entitled "Oral Contraceptives and Cervical Cancer Risk in Costa Rica: Detection Bias or Causal Association?" published in the Jan 1 issue of THE JOURNAL (1988;259:59-64). On page 59, at the bottom of the first column, the third footnote should have read as follows: "Reprints not available." The last sentence on page 59 should have read as follows: "Between September 1984 and February 1985, we identified 938 eligible control women 25 to 59 years [not '58 years'] of age at the time of interview through a nationwide household survey."
