Errors in Tables.

Abstract

—In the article entitled "A New Simplified Acute Physiology Score (SAPS II) Based on a European/North American Multicenter Study," published in the December 22/29,1993, issue of THE JOURNAL (1993;270:2957-2963), an incorrect term was used in Tables 3 and 4. In the fifth row of Tables 3 and 4, on pages 2960 and 2961, respectively, "continuous pulmonary artery pressure" should read "continuous positive airway pressure." Also in Table 3, on page 2961, in the eighth row under point 6, the values should read "(0.60-1.79)" [not "(6.0-1.79)"].
