Abstract

An omission occurred in the ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTION "A Randomized Trial of Propranolol in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction: I. Mortality Results," published in the March 26 issue of The Journal (1982; 247:1707-1714). On page 1711, the first line of the first full paragraph was inadvertently omitted. The first sentence of the first full paragraph should have read as follows: Table 5 shows the percentage of patients from whom study medication was withdrawn at the most recent clinic visit, by reason. Also, on page 1712, the first word in the second line of the center column should have been hypotension [not 'hypertension'].
