In Reply.  —The letter from Dr Lieberman raises an important point. We certainly did not intend to overlook the prophylactic use of fresh-frozen plasma for hereditary angioedema in some situations, and I agree that it is an appropriate indication. We thank Dr Lieberman for calling this limited but important indication to the attention of the readership. When the guideline is updated, the task force will consider adding such indications.
