Abstract

—In the Preliminary Communication entitled "Sclerodermalike Esophageal Disease in Children Breast-fed by Mothers With Silicone Breast Implants," published in the January 19, 1994, issue of The JOURNAL (1994;271:213-216), an incorrect study design was listed in the structured abstract. On page 213, the text following the "Design" sidehead should read Case series, not Case-control study.
