Incorrect Terminology

An error occurred in the DATTA Report entitled "Intrauterine Devices," published in the April 14 issue of The Journal (1989;261:2127-2130). On page 2130, the second sentence of the first complete paragraph in the first column should have read as follows: "Thirty-three of the panelists are board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology [not 'the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists']."
