Abstract

To the Editor.—  In addition to the letter by Donald Thomas, MD, I believe Oliver Wendell Holmes the physician once said, in alluding to the infirmities of old age, "When I look into the microscope, I see my cataract looking back at me."(The viewer holding the ophthalmoscope also sees his cataract.)
