Abstract

To the Editor.  —Two questions in response to the excellent article by Drs Aaron and Rockoff.1

Question:  What is shaped like a dime, weighs less than a nickel, costs barely a penny, triggers a constitutional crisis, and generates hundreds of thousands of dollars of medical bills?

Answer:  The.22-caliber bullet removed from President Reagan. Easily purchased, even today it requires no license, identification, background check, or safety training.

Question:  When will they ever learn?
