Abstract

Reed T. Keller, MD, who died November 9, 1991, will be honored in the naming of a new auditorium of the Bio-Information Learning Resources Center, University of North Dakota School of Medicine, Grand Forks, where—upon his appointment in 1973—he was the youngest chair in the United States of a medical school's Department of Internal Medicine.

Eric P. Goosby, MD, has been appointed director of the Health Resources and Services Administration's Division of Human Immunovirus Services, Rockville, Md. The Health Resources and Services Administration (JAMA. 1990; 264:945) is a US Public Health Service agency within the Department of Health and Human Services.

Jonathan B. Jaspan, MD, has become professor of medicine and Tullis-Tulane Alumni Chair of Diabetes, Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, La, and director, diabetes program, University Hospital and Clinic there.
