Abstract

In Reply.  —Dr Buhl is correct that the data collection for the study in which he participated took place several years ago. Physicians participated in the standardized patient examination in fall 1992. We appreciate Buhl's recognition of the importance of testing physical diagnosis skills on a regular basis and are pleased that the study has prompted initiation of continuing medical education courses related to identifying findings associated with HIV infection.
