To the Editor.—
In their description of newborns with meconium aspiration, medical students and residents frequently write, "meconium was (or was not) seen below the vocal chords" to which I usually reply, "Major or minor?" (Probably minor since the infant is under 18 years old.) Now in an editorial by Dr Lundberg, entitled "Peace on Earth, Good Health for Men.'" we find him striking a "responsive cord" in suggesting an exportation of physicians. Nitpickers arise!
