Abstract

In Reply.—  Dr Fink suggests that there are other causes of sore throat than group A β-hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis. Of course, he is correct. My note was to imply that in the context of the Breese criteria this manifestation was one of the positive features of group A β-hemolytic streptococcal infection.
