In Reply.  —Blows to the head damage the brain, whether or not the person who first delivers the blow is paid to deliver it. I hope the ongoing studies of brain damage from amateur boxing include boxers like Dale Foreman of Cincinnati, Ohio, who died of head injuries suffered on June 29,1996, during a 3-round Golden Gloves bout in Richmond, Ky.1
