—In the article entitled "Active Morbidity Surveillance After Hurricane Andrew—Florida, 1992," published in the August 4, 1993, issue of The Journal (1993;270:591-594), incorrect impact areas were given. On page 591 in the first paragraph of the article, the impact area of Hurricane Andrew on south Dade County, Florida, should be 1000 sq miles (2600 km2) (not 1250 sq yd [1000 m2]), and the eastern quarter of this area should be 250 sq miles (650 km2) (not 350 sq yd [280 m2]).
