Abstract

Incorrect Reference.  —In the Editorial entitled "The Growing Conundrum: Growth Hormone Treatment of the Non—Growth Hormone Deficient Child," published in the August 21, 1996, issue of THE JOURNAL (1996;276:567-568), an incorrect reference was cited. A new reference should have been cited at the end of the first complete sentence on page 568 instead of reference 10: 11. Wit JM, Boersma B, de Muinck Keizer-Schrama SMPF, et al. Long term results of growth hormone therapy in children with short stature, subnormal growth rate and normal growth hormone response to secretagogues. Clin Endocrinol. 1995;42:365-372. The reference numbers published as 11 through 16 should then each increase by 1.
