Abstract

—In the Editorial entitled "Important New Findings in Sepsis," published in the July 16, 1997, issue of The Journal (1997;278:249), there was an error in wording. In the second column, first full paragraph, the fourth sentence should read as follows: "Empiric antibiotic [not antibody] therapy must be started as soon as possible in those patients who present with a septic picture."
