Abstract

—The annual meeting of this organization will be held at the New York Academy of Medicine, 12 West 31st street, New York, on Tuesday, October 9 (three o'clock P. M.), and Wednesday, October 10, 1883. The leading objects of this Society are the promotion of the more thorough general education of students before entering upon the study of medicine, and of a more extended and systematic course of medical studies. Only such physicians as are also literary graduates are admitted to membership in the Academy. The coming meeting will doubtless be one of interest. Any further information concerning it may be obtained by addressing the Secretary, Richard J. Dunglison, M.D., Philadelphia.
