This is a small volume that can be put in an ordinary coatpocket. The surgical anatomy involved in an operation is briefly referred to and then the operation clearly but briefly described. Very little, if anything, is said about the indications for or results of operations and usually but one method of doing an operation is described. The book therefore is not one for the advanced surgeon but for the student beginning in operative work.
