Legislative Notes.  —The Arkansas legislature has passed a bill creating a bureau of sanitation under the state board of health, and providing that all hotels or restaurants where meals and sleeping accommodations are furnished for transient guests shall be under the control of this bureau.—The legislature has also appropriated $2,000 for the medical department of the state university, and has authorized the building of a state charity hospital.


Fee Splitting Forbidden.  —The Colorado legislature has passed the bill introduced by Senator Knauss prohibiting the division of fees by physicians, surgeons, chiropractors, midwives or chiropodists.
