Abstract

The eighth volume of the Index-Catalogue includes the literature from Ins to Kyst, and, like its predecessors, is the most valuable summary of bibliography we have within its alphabetical limits. There is nothing else of which we know that can fill the place of the Index-Catalogue in its first and second series. It is a most creditable monument to the United States Government's interest in the general welfare of mankind.
