Abstract

The friends of Dr. Murrell in this country, and they are many, will be extremely glad to welcome this book, which, although not exhaustive, is yet eminently scientific and practical. The American edition has been revised by Dr. Frederick Caswell of New York. The book includes a very entertaining introduction, in which the general principles are given: Pharmacology of Organic Substances; Pharmacology of Synthetic Compounds; Pharmacology of Drugs of Vegetable Origin; Pharmacology of Drugs of Animal Origin.
