Abstract

The author has given due consideration to those subjects which are of practical value to the obstetrician and omitted non-essential and collateral subjects. The manual is not intended for specialists, but for students and general practitioners. The work has been well done, recent advances in the study of ovum development, the pathology of pregnancy and the management of labor being incorporated.
