This work, which has passed through its first edition within three years, gives a very fair, general résumé of the sanatorium care of the tuberculous in Europe and this country. So far as we can see, there are very few omissions of any important institutions made. It is nicely illustrated and the student of the subject will hardly find any other work its equal in the information that it gives.
