Medical Student Burnout and Professionalism

To the Editor: In their survey study, Dr Dyrbye and colleagues1 have shown another important outcome related to burnout by demonstrating that medical students with high scores on the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) were more likely to report engaging in unprofessional behavior compared with those with lower scores. We have 2 comments with regard to study design.
