A classic reference in musculoskeletal trauma care since it was first published in 1975, the seventh edition of Rockwood and Green's Fractures in Adults/Rockwood and Wilkins' Fractures in Children continues to be a comprehensive guide to the treatment of fractures and related injuries. Since the sixth edition, outstanding new additions to the editorial staff have been made, and the seventh edition has been modified and expanded in terms of chapters and authors to stay current with the recent developments in areas such as severe soft-tissue and bone injuries, complications, and fragility fractures. The list of authors is particularly impressive and includes foremost authorities in the field, many of whom have made seminal contributions to the literature cited. The selection of authors from around the world continues the trend of this resource toward presenting an international perspective on fracture care. As in the past, there is a separate volume for fractures in children, with different editors and authors. However, that volume shares a similar organization and approach and is a cohesive part of the overall series.
