Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) who are of Native American descent have a higher risk of relapse, which may be mitigated by an additional course of chemotherapy, according to a study funded by the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (Yang JJ et al.
