Abstract

In the original contribution titled "Acute Pharyngitis and Tonsillitis in University of Wisconsin Students" (190:699-708 [Nov 23] 1964), an error occurs on p 705, in the first paragraph under "Clinical Diagnosis." The sentence beginning, "In children, certain combinations of features such as intense pharyngeal edema...." actually represents work done by M. Stillerman and S. H. Bernstein and was reported in an article titled "Streptococcal Pharyngitis: Evaluation of Clinical Syndromes in Diagnosis" (Amer J Dis Child101: 476-489 [April] 1961).
