Abstract

To the Editor:—  In "Long-term Anticoagulant Therapy After Myocardial Infarction" (JAMA193:929, 1965), a Veterans Administration Cooperative Study omitted reference to the significant follow-up studies of Benjamin Manchester, MD, reported in Angiology (15: 19, 1964), "Continuous Anticoagulant Therapy Following Myocardial Infarction." Previous communications by this author were also significant and I feel that the authors of the report in The Journal made a serious omission in not referring to them.
