Abstract

To the Editor:—  In my letter to the Editor regarding human antirabies serum I pointed out that humans are known to have survived clinical rabies, proved by laboratory tests, when they received blood transfusions from donors recently actively immunized against rabies.Since the publication of my letter, I have received a number of requests for specific literature references supporting this assertion. Herewith are the published reports on which my statement is based.
