Abstract

This book is delightfully presented in a free, informal style. The author examines the historical beginnings of infant feeding as background for a philosophical discussion of current trends. It seems to be long on history and short on contemporary practices and products. Nevertheless, it will interest the teacher, student, and pediatrician in practice.
