Abstract

—We are informed that the large bequest of Mr. Barnes was for the erection and endowment of a hospital, and was without provision for a college. However, a practical connection of the two institutions is designed, and it is hoped by the friends of the latter to secure all needed funds to make it a first class institution of medical learning.
