THE NEW INDEX MEDICUS.

Abstract

A circular has been issued announcing the renewal of the publication of the Index Medicus by the Carnegie Institution, Washington, D. C., subscription price paid in advance $5.00 per annum in the United States and Canada, and in foreign countries 25 shillings or marks, or 35 francs or lire. The plan is to follow out much the same course as in the earlier publications, giving the titles in full of books, pamphlets, theses, contributions to co-operative work, and original articles in the journals, transactions of medical and scientific societies, all arranged under subject headings. The titles in certain languages, such as the Russian, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Turkish, Hungarian, Bohemian, Roumanian, Japanese and Chinese, are to be translated into English.
