To the Editor:  —In The Journal of March 7, page 665, in the report of the proceedings of the New York County Medical Association it is incorrectly stated that I prefer silk for suturing the kidney. I employ temporary sutures of silkworm gut which are brought out through all the structures of the back and tied over a fold of gauze.
