Data Error and Unclear Language

JAMA. 2013;310(3):324. doi:10.1001/jama.2013.4527

The Original Contribution entitled “Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors During Pregnancy and Risk of Stillbirth and Infant Mortality,” published in the January 2, 2013, issue of JAMA (2013;309[1]:48-54. doi:10.1001/jama.2012.153812), included a data error and unclear wording. In the middle column of page 49, the first year mentioned in line 8 should be “1997.” On the same page, the sentence beginning at the bottom of the middle column should read “We assessed 3 outcomes: stillbirth (intrauterine death after 22 weeks of gestation in Finland, Norway, and Iceland; after 28 weeks in Sweden; and after 28 weeks in Denmark from 1997 through 2003 and after 22 weeks thereafter)….” This article has been corrected online.
